About the Project
Wolax Interiors London delivered the complete interior fit-out of the About YU beauty salon in London. Designed as an exclusive, members-only beauty destination, the project focuses on delivering a high standard of service and a refined client experience. The interior concept reflects contemporary beauty industry expectations, balancing functionality, comfort, and modern aesthetics.
The main salon space spans 150 square metres and accommodates three fully equipped stylist workstations. Each station features mirrors with integrated surrounding lighting, providing precise illumination, improved comfort, and a sophisticated luxury feel. The layout also includes a welcoming reception area and a glass-fronted display zone that enhances openness and visual continuity. Additional rooms support key operational needs, including a hair-colouring bar, organised material storage, massage treatment surfaces, and a dedicated hair-washing area—ensuring efficient workflows and client privacy.
Materials and Fabrication.
The furniture was produced using durable, high-quality materials, including laminated chipboard and high-pressure laminate (HPL). Selected for strength, longevity, and ease of maintenance, these finishes are well suited to high-traffic beauty environments and support a refined, practical, and long-lasting interior.
